Excludes: Transfers to/from lodge, drinks, lunch (a pre-booked light lunch available for R195 (2026) / R205 (2027) per person), optional activities, laundry, gratuities and items of a personal nature.
Please note: Bookings on long weekends and holidays require a minimum 2 night stay.
Activities & Transfers
Guided open game drive safari in Kruger National Park excluding KNP conservation fees. Minimum 2 guests; no children under 6 years old on open safari vehicles.
Half day: R1,565 (2026) / R1,630 (2027) per person for 3+ people, or R2,295 (2026) / R2,385 (2027) per person for 2 people.
Full day: R1,765 (2026) / R1,835 (2027) per person for 3+ people, or R2,435 (2026) / R2,530 (2027) per person for 2 people with picnic lunch.
KNP conservation fee R602 (to 31 Oct 2026) / R692 (to 31 Oct 2027) per international adult per day; R300 / R345 per international child 2–11 years per day.
Airport transfer to/from Makuwa ±35 min: R600 (2026) / R625 (2027) per person (1–3 people) Hoedspruit (HDS).
Guided walk (±1.5 hours) on the Makuwa Safari Lodge property: R480 (2026) / R500 (2027) per person.
Reservations & Payment
All reservations must be made by email. A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm a booking, unless by prior written agreement. Balance of payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations remain provisional until the deposit is received.
Cancellations must be made in writing by email: more than 60 days prior — 20% fees; 59–15 days — 75% fees; 14–0 days — 90% fees.
Payment by bank transfer (EFT) to the account details on the invoice. The lodge is a cash-free establishment — Visa/Mastercard or EFT only. Please ensure the sender pays all bank transfer charges.
Forward dietary requirements to reservations 2 weeks prior to travel.
